Association of Industrial
Management Science Students (AIMSS) is the academic student association of the
Department of Industrial Management of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba
University of Sri Lanka. AIMSS was founded in year 2005.
Association of Industrial
Management Science Students (AIMSS), which believes in developing future
leaders, takes a leading role in developing its members to be a positive
influence. As an entity that demonstrates activating leadership, it consistently searches ways & means to empower our undergraduates truly
explore & develop their potential in this regard.
Leaders’ Day is an effort to
extend the benefits of AIMSS not only to its members but also to all the
undergraduates of the university system. The day would consist of indoor and
outdoor sessions delivered by highly sought after trainers from various reputed
organizations across the country. This would be the ideal opportunity for many
university undergraduates to obtain vital skills such as team management,
leadership, communication and career skills.
Leaders’ Day aims to bring
together eminent trainers, motivational speakers, local organizations and
institutes to equip the brightest & best undergraduates of all the four
faculties of the university and invited universities, with the necessary skills
& competencies, in the form of one day workshop, to be the next
game-changers as they embark on their career.
Leaders' Day is scheduled to be held as soon as the union action of university lecturers is over at the Applied Sciences Faculty Complex, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Kuliyapitiya.
